The Deka Bros.
The Deka Bros., Julien and Benoit Decaillon, are internationally acclaimed filmmakers from Poitiers, France. The brothers honed their craft on short films and music videos in their native country. In 2008, they garnered the attention of Big Screen Entertainment Group and William Morris Endeavor with their breakthrough feature film, the vampire saga, Sodium Babies. In the US, The Dekas are employed by Big Screen Entertainment Group as Directors/Producers/Visual Effects Supervisors The Dekas recently made their US music video directing debut for Insane Clown Posse’s darkly twisted “Chris Benoit” and served as Directors of Photography on the Michigan production of Tony T’ video “Make It Bun Dem” for dubstep phenom, Skrillex. The music video premiered on the same day as the 2012 MTV Music Video Awards where The Deka Bros won for Best Visual Effects for Skrillex’s video “First of the Year,” with Tony T. “Make it Bun Dem” had over 1 million views in its first 2 days.
